Project Lead | Operations
Caliber is looking for a highly skilled Project Lead to join our team in Arnhem, The Netherlands and manage complex projects across the APAC and Middle East regions.
Your role
This is a unique role that combines project management and account management responsibilities, serving as the first point of contact for our customers while managing projects effectively.
As the Project Lead, you will:

Be the primary point of contact for our customers onsite, ensuring seamless communication and excellent customer service.

Oversee and manage various projects for our clients from start to end.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Collaborate closely with both Caliber and Customer teams to deliver results.
In this role, the Project Lead will oversee the end-to-end supply chain processes for store development and construction projects, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication with all stakeholders. The position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and has the expertise to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
- Data Management
- Order Management
- Project Management from Project Kick-off with all stakeholders to Project Close-Out
- Interpretation of design drawings to determine which suppliers are expected to provide material and/ or services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project management-related issues on all assigned projects between customers, suppliers, site supervisors, and project management team ensuring seamless communication and excellent customer service
- Time Management - effectively planning and coordinating
- Create Project KPI dashboards and evaluate with key stakeholders. Perform simple analysis on performance metrics, costs, and other areas as required to improve best practices;
- Budget Management
- Support Operational Process Reviews (internal/external) for continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Reporting, Missing Milestones Reporting (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Oversee the logistics and transportation of materials, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws.
- Coordinate and monitor international shipping processes, including customs clearance and documentation for the APAC and Middle East regions.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Prince2 or PMP
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, particularly in store development, construction, or supply chain environments.
- 1-2 years international experience desired, else clear demonstration of knowledge needed to operate in global markets.
- A strong background in freight logistics, customs formalities, and international supply chain processes.
- Experience managing projects in the APAC and Middle East regions, with an understanding of local regulations and cultural nuances.
- Knowledge of logistics processes and supply chain management.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills and interest in other systems as well.
- Clear & Consistent communications (both writing & speaking) in English and Italian.
- Project management skills (plan projects from conception to implementation, map out timelines, assess project risks and opportunities, and execute each phase of the project life cycle). Create, allocate, and manage the budget; communicate with all stakeholders; Troubleshoot problems and challenges; deliver (and often maintain) the end product or service.
