The CO2 Calculator – A revolutionary tool supporting brands become fully carbon neutral

Having all supply chain data in our system means we can uniquely calculate your total logistics’ CO2 impact per project, per region and per timeline. We capture data across your transport (road, air, sea) and warehousing activities, using the industry’s most tested standards.

What to Expect

Road, air and sea emissions are calculated for each project. The tool identifies the vehicle and type of fuel used and measures CO2 emissions per container-based or weight-based loads. Fuel consumption for air and sea also accounts for the actual route travelled. Using real-world data from several globally certified bureaus we benchmark findings against global usage (Network for Transportation Measures NTM, The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs DEFRA, Civil Aviation Authority CAA, Clean Cargo Working Group CCWG).

Caliber.global also manages a data set from its strategic warehousing partners that contains information regarding all warehousing activities for projects. Warehouse emissions are based on energy used (KWH), spaced used (M2) and days stored.

Combining this data allows us to report a project’s total carbon impact and calculate the cost to offset these emissions (based on the industry average). An example we give illustrates the number of trees needed to be planted to offset emissions.
